Created by Dave Thompson, CEO of Changing Vegas, LLC, Crypto Court Poker is a new table game representing a new gaming genre within the Las Vegas gaming community. It’s a Strategy Card Game based on poker, reminiscent of Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone. People who like to play poker and/or deck-building mobile and video games will love the challenge and fast pace.

A Brand New Las Vegas Genre and Business Model

Entrepreneur Dave Thompson remarks: “My dream is to bring video games onto the gaming floor! I wanted to create a skill-based game that’s focused on the game itself rather than on a particular property.” Dave says that there is a different way to do business in the gaming industry. “We offer 100% player playback on games, there’s no House. I see no reason to nickel and dime players. When someone gets good at Crypto Court, the odds truly are in their favor. It’s a more modern, transparent way of doing business, that gamers of all types, including Millennials and younger, will embrace. I want players to have an option to play a wild & challenging strategy game when they visit Las Vegas!”

Crypto Court Poker has a Medieval theme; it involves creating a 20-card Power Deck and then strategically playing and combining their cards with their play to affect the poker action. The four-player game uses a turbo-tournament format. The back story, characters, and rules of the game can be found at:

Changing Vegas - a Las Vegas indie game + film development startup - is hosting live games in locations across Vegas right now, which will be followed by the development of a mobile app and video game, as well as new products and merchandise. The company’s Game Nights are an immersive social experience.

Playing on its Medieval theme, Crypto Court players can earn promotional cards through cosplay and by referring new players to the game.
