THE KING STRATEGY GUIDE

By taking a King Deck to the Crypto Court Table, you become a rich high roller who uses their billfold and big bets to disorient the poker table. King cards support the strategy of stealing pots with bluffing and squeeze plays. The King cards also have the power to passively pad your bankroll with rebuys and add-ons, allowing you to sustain hits to your stack and force players to gamble with you in an “All-In Aggresive" style of play.

A ROYAL BANKROLL

As The King, you have access to the coffers of the kingdom to fuel your poker buy-ins. This allows you to make and call large bets without worry, as your power cards help ensure you still have a large stack of coins even after losing some pots. These cards also help you recover even after a large hit to your stack, as you can fold and stay out of trouble while rebuilding with power cards instead of being forced to play hands to win more coins.

BUY YOUR WAY TO THE TOP

What's a Noble to do with all of that coin? By using The King's power cards, you can spend that cold hard cash for various effects. As long as you have the funds, you're able to refuel your hand, cancel power cards, and access a wide swathe of abilities to dominate the table while you bury the villains with the big stack.

DOWN BUT NOT OUT

The King's strategy is a bold one, but it can place you in difficult situations and open you up to counter play when your signature move is the Big Bet. The King's most powerful cards allow you to gain "extra lives" in the game, taking the pressure off of difficult decisions when facing an all-in bet or a large re-raise.

If you want to come to the table with an iron will and extra coins in your pocket... then Big Stack Bully and BUST OUT the villains with the might of The King Deck!

ADVANCED TIPS ON COMBO DECKS

The King has a simple and effective strategy, but you can take it to the next level with another layer of complexity when pairing the King with another member of the Royal Court. Here are some cards from other characters that pair well with The King's attacking strategy.

THE KING AND THE QUEEN

THE KING and THE QUEEN are an ideal match (who would've guessed?) for supporting each other's strategies. The King can have a difficult time drawing cards and staying heated up if he loses momentum. The Queen can shore up those weaknesses through her support cards - and has several rare cards that enhance the "extra life" strategy of The King.

THE KING AND THE JACK

THE KING and THE JACK are a resilient pair, as the Jack adds a layer of protection to the King's aggressive strategy - while adding to the "snowball" element of the Big Stack playstyle. Folding and letting up the pressure usually stops a King Deck in its tracks... but the support cards of the Jack let you keep the momentum going even while being forced to play defense. Card manipulation cards unseen in a standard King Deck and more ways to add coin to the table is the icing on the cake.

THE KING AND THE JOKER

THE KING and THE JOKER are an interesting pair, as their strategies greatly differ. One way to match them up is to focus on the TILTED synergies of the Joker to enhance the proactive nature of The King strategy. This allows a King Deck not only to attack the villain's coin stacks, but their ability to play power cards as well. Rounding out this style of deck with the "Angle Shooting" card is a must, as it is the main bridge between their two playstyles.
